It was so sad to read of Gene's death in the Ledger the other day. Our families lived on the same side of Second Street for decades and probably have been intertwined much longer as Gene's paternal grandmother and my maternal grandmother were best girlfriends and she was referred to as " Aunt Mattie ". My sympathy to all of the Carson family. Andy Hudson
