I was shocked and saddened to learn of Keith's passing. To his family and friends I extend my deepest and sincerest sympathies and condolences. All we can do is take comfort in knowing he's in a far, far better place.
He was known to his close friends in the Rescue Squad and firehouse as Ollie Bear, but I knew him as Oliver. I have no idea how he got that name. We all got tagged with nicknames. We were all brothers behind the badge.
I salute you, Keith. It was an honor and a privilege to have known and served with ye, my Brother.
Requiescat in pace, Oliver.
