Keesh Keesh,
I share your grief and pray that you know in the coming days, you will be in my heart and prayers constantly. Imogene was something else and has truly left her mark upon this world. One of her greatest gifts is the wonderful daughter she reared you to be. I'm going to miss ole Imogene.. :-)

Keisha, I want to share with you what a wonderful woman your mother was. She was the best principal I ever had. Without her help and encouragement, I would never have lasted my first year of teaching at Cleveland School. Thanks to Imogene, I went on to teach for 25 years in Orange.

Imogene and I worked together for thirty years before her retirement from Orange District. During that time I came to love and admire a woman with a dazzling smile, quick wit, calming attitude and no-nonsense approach to the total upbringing of the children in her care. "Ok, PC, how do we fix this one," was always music to my ears! My prayer is that you were able to enjoy your retirement and that you had quality time with your loving family. My love and God's speed Imogene.

To the family of Imogene King Johnson:
I met Imogene at a Jazzercise class and what a joy and a blessing to have her there. She had a vibrant spirit and was so much fun. I invited her to a Zumba class and there we moved to the Latin flavor. I admired her energy and zest for life. She inspired me to live each day to the fullest! I am typing this with a heavy heart but with a heart of gratitude because God allowed me to cross paths with a treasure named Imogene.
May God's comfort and love be with you during this difficult time.

Imogene was such a special person to me. We got to know each other very well through our dogs, Maxie and Goldie who were friends like us. Walking my dog to her house daily became part of my everyday routine, and Imogene will be sorely missed, by both Goldie and I. Imogene was a smart, happy, beautiful person with such a big heart. I loved all our great conversations and all the advice she gave me. Rest in peace Imogene, you were a very special lady.

Imogene,
We all miss you. You took good care of our daughter Nova for most of her elementary school years. You will always be remembered as a warm, kind, and upbeat person, and your hearty laughter still resonates among us. We still remember the time you wrapped Chinese dumplings with us and our cousines at our home. Imogene, may you rest in peace.

I am so saddened by the loss of Imogene. As a resident of Fieldstone Drive for over 15 years, I would see her walking her dog, almost daily, as I drove past her house. She would always offer a wave and a smile. That is a sight that i will sorely miss. My condolences to her family.
