Rich Howland, a kind and caring man, a trusted colleague, an unusually gifted teacher -- he will be sorely missed. I did not get to work with him regularly, but he was one of those people who made the community whole. I loved walking in to work in the morning and seeing his beautiful photographs, capturing so well the silent depth of meaning in each. We shared a love for some of those places he captured so well. Sending love and wishes for peace to all his family and friends.

So sorry that they are both gone, but know that their memories will live on with their children and grandkids. We will hold all of you in our prayers in your time of grief.
