To the D'Ascoli family, please accept my heartfelt condolences, I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr. D'Ascoli lived a mighty life, and God truly intended for us to live forever, but not in these current conditions. I want to assure you of a real hope of being reunited with your dead loved ones, I hope you will find comfort in reading John 5:28,29. Rosa, I am so sorry of the passing of your Dad, but as you so eloquently stated in your eulogy, he was ready to see your Mom, Freddy, Rose, and all those who had past. Your Dad was a great man, Father, Husband, Brother, Companion, and Friend. And I appreciate his service to the country. I will never forget that Christmas Eve, and he introducing Limoncello to me :). Goodbye my friend. Since the day your beautiful daughter married my son we've spent holidays, birthdays and special occasions together in conversation. Two Italians from different worlds, you from "The Greatest Generation" and me a"Boomer". Thanksgiving past you showed a desire to make this final journey.
