Obituary of Guido D'Ascoli
Guido D'Ascoli, 89 passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on December 5, 2018 at St. Barnabas Hospital, Livingston.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood on Monday, Dec 10th at 11:15 AM. Interment Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Sunday, 2-6 PM. Born in Newark Guido has lived in Maplewood for 50 years. Guido served in the United States Navy on the USS White Marsh LSD 8 from January 11 1951 until 10-25 1954.
He was an incredibly talented carpenter for Schroeder Bros. in Union from 1970-1990. Guido was predeceased by his wife Constantina “Tina” Iandolo D’Ascoli, his son Frederick “Freddy” D’Ascoli, his brothers Frederick, Peter, Rocco, Jerry and Joseph D’Ascoli, and sisters Dorothy Petriccione and Irma Minervino. He is survived by his daughter Rosa D'Ascoli Bracaglia, son in law Paul C Bracaglia, grandson Paulie Bracaglia, brother Edmund D'Ascoli and many nieces and nephews and grandnieces .
