I remember Ian with my daughter, Ashley. Ashley said the other day they went to approx. 26 movies together. Lots of hours spent laughingly together. My sincere sorry to Ian's family for this very sadden loss. I hope whatever Wars you might have been struggling with Ian aren't in your Stars anymore.

I am sending my sincere condolences to the Howland family for their loss of Ian. I am having a very difficult time wrapping my head around his passing. I had the pleasure of working with Ian at Barnes & Noble for many years. He was always available to provide a helpful and personal reading suggestion for my youngest son in addition to the hoards of kids at the store. His passion for books was inspiring. The world is a little darker without Ian's spark but heaven is a little brighter. I hope he has met up with Princess Leia by now. He will always be missed and thought fondly of. May he rest in peace.
