I enjoyed working with Ben the last few years. Stopping for lunch was also enjoyable, as he knew the best places. We had great conversation, and I could count on learning something new and interesting. Ben was one of the good guys. He will be missed.

Ben and I lived around the corner from each other in Newark and went to St. Ann's School and Essex Catholic H.S.. Though I was a bit younger then Ben, I always enjoyed his company in the neighborhood and I especially remember him as the "Teddy Roosevelt Brewster" character in the high school play 'Arsenic and Old Lace. At every performance he received a standing ovation because he put his heart and soul into playing that character and to this day whenever I watch that movie with Cary Grant I think of Ben and I always will. And besides, he is the one person who got me interested in World History because of his passion for knowledge.

I have never seen Ben without a smile. He will be deeply missed. Adding to the obituary, Ben was in law enforcement long before working for the IRS. When he was in 8th grade at St. Ann School, Newark, NJ, he was the head patrol boy! Cousin George Muha
