Heinrich was a very special person. He showered all those around him with an infectious smile. His caring, giving, kind and loving spirit was a gift to the world, and we treasure having known him. We remember how he went to the DC every Tuesday morning to help with anything and everything that was needed. Out of respect and admiration, Otto sometimes drove from Union to Livingston just to shop at their store. Our sincerest condolences to Heinrich’s family and many friends. Walter My deepest condolences to you and Heiner’s many friends. He befriended me when I joined the DC Tuesday morning crew. At break times, he told me many stories about his adventures as a young man. What a life he had! He used to leave me laughing and in awe of his joy for living. He spent hours and hours on his knees maintaining the flower beds at DC, always planting, pruning, and weeding with much love and great pride. Heiner will always be remembered as a bright star in the history of the DC. Suzanna Polhamus

Heinrich's joie du vivre was infectious and his vigor and enjoyment of life was admirable. He even brought me back some chocolates from Germany. His friendly manner and conversation at the pool will be missed! Auf wiedersehen!
